Four “Training for trainers” events have been planned within the framework of the SMEDATA project, aimed at specialists in the field of personal data protection – two in Italy and two Bulgaria. The trainings in Italy took place in September.

The two “Training for trainers” events in Bulgaria will take place in the form of two-day online webinars, and the potential participants are given a choice of two options:

  • On 2 and 3 November 2020 – from 9:00 to 12:00
  • On 4 and 5 November 2020 – from 9:00 to 12:00

During the events, participants will learn more about the latest trends in the field of personal data protection and the practices of European supervisory authorities and courts. New developments in the exercise of data subjects’ rights, instruments for compliance with data protection law, technical and organisational measures to be taken by organisations, the roles of organisations in data processing in an international context and in the transfer of data will be addressed. Data in non-EU / EEA countries, ethical challenges in the implementation of global technology solutions and procedures for joint inspections of supervisors are among other topics.

The training will be interactive and with the opportunity for participants to work on various practical cases in the field of personal data protection, as well as to exchange experiences with each other. The events will be held through the Webex platform and will be conducted in Bulgarian.

The SMEDATA partners invite all specialists working in the field of personal data protection to take part. To confirm, please fill in the REGISTRATION FORM, indicating one of the two proposed dates.
