On January 28th 2020, EU countries will celebrate the European Data Protection Day for the 14th time, marking 39 years since the entry into force of the Council of Europe Convention 108/1981 on the Protection of Individuals in the automatic processing of their personal data.
National data protection authorities partners to the SMEDATA project – Commission for personal data protection of Republic of Bulgaria and the Italian data protection authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali) will organize a number of activities to mark the European data protection day.
