SMEDATA II Project aims at ensuring the effective application of GDPR through awareness, multiplying training and sustainable capacity building for SMEs
SMEDATA II will organise a series of awareness and training events, upgrade the mobile app “GDPR in Your Pocket”, disseminate and communicate project objectives and results
Management and expert staff of SMEs, their associations, their legal advisors as well as citizens will benefit from SMEDATA awareness & training campaign and innovative tools
We will organize 6 regional awareness-raising events in Bulgaria and Italy and elaborate e-training materials for SMEs.
“GDPR in Your Pocket” will be upgraded by adding relevant legal content from France and Germany and new tools and features assisting SMEs in understanding and complying with GDPR.
SME solution for assessing the compliance of their processes with the GDPR and to ensure continuous process of self-improvement.

Chairman of the Commission for Personal Data Protection of the Republic of Bulgaria
Deputy Chair of the European Data Protection Board (EDPB).
Lead of the project management and international affairs team at the Bulgarian DPA. Project experience in multicultural environment in public and private sectors since 2005.
After qualifying for the Bar, he moved to the Italian DPA (1997) where he has been the Head of IT Networks Department; now he is the Head of the “EU and International matters” Service.
Carlo Colapietro works as Full Professor of Public Law at the “Roma Tre” University. He is also the Director of the Postgraduate Master “Data Protection Officer and Privacy expert”.
Hristo Konstantinov is Managing director of Apis Europe JSC since 2018. In SMEDATA project he is acting as company’s team leader and leader of the mobile app development activities in WP3.
Vladislav Slavov is a chairperson of The Union of Bulgarian Jurists. He was a President of the Supreme Administrative Court (1996-2003) and a constitutional judge (2003-2012).
Milen Raykov is a Partner in EY for Bulgaria, Macedonia, Albania and Kosovo. He is an experienced data privacy professional and a member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals.
Kamelia Angelova is a lawyer with extensive background in EU law. Ms Angelova is currently acting as chairperson of the Managing Board of EWLA – Bulgaria.
